10 Japanese Wiener Art

Why a wiener art? ;)

Well, a wiener is one of the most common lunch items in Japan.

For moms who pack kids and husband’s lunch box every single day pretty much for the rest of their lives, it is tedious to come up with an original and creative menu every single day. :?

Besides, a lunch box is like a representation of mom’s creativity. When the lid of a lunch box is opened, usually there are a few audiences around (i.e. colleagues, classmates) who may make a few comments, including some complements.

We all know moms love complements for their homemade food. :D They never get sick of hearing the same compliments over and over. ;) Complements also make her a happy chef, which leads to a happy home, which is a root for all the good things in our lives. ;)

I may have exaggerated a bit there, but in any case, I’d like to show you some of the best wiener arts made by moms in Japan.

1. Dragon

2. Lion

3. Dragon Fly

5. Pig

Below is an amazing video of a professional wiener sculpture/chef who demonstrates the art of wiener manipulation!
